Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients to help them in their venue and catering journey
- Acquiring new business along with maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing clients for inhouse events
- Completing sales appointments, proposals, meet and greets and follow-up of all client interactions to ensure client satisfaction
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and relationship building
- Meeting and entertaining clients at their premises or our locations and attending network events and annual showcase events
Experience required:
- Minimum 2 years' industry experience with a real passion for corporate events
- Experience within the hospitality/hotel/events or catering industry is essential and experience in corporate or large-scale Event Sales in a client facing role would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the social market and trends within Australia
- You will be able to demonstrate solid sales experience with a record of achieving targets
The ideal candidate should have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent personal presentation
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Administration and time management skills
- Knowledge of CRM software is an advantage (but not essential)
