We are growing and expanding which has led to an exciting opportunity within our Services Support Centre, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised, detail-oriented Events Administrator to support our Service Managers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for Events Administration.

This role is 100% office based; our Redfern Services Support Centre is a convenient location and short walk from public transport.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events administration from client order to post event debriefing.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, actioning client requests whilst maintaining and developing event documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with logistical arrangements including to coordination of uniform and equipment preparation, delivery, and collection.
  • Prepare reports, event day packs and brief sheets.
  • Crosscheck client quotes and event rosters, including updating rosters as per client requests.
  • Collaborate with Services, Rostering, Communications and Recruitment Teams on a regular basis.
  • Continuously evaluate event processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in an administration role preferably in the events industry.
  • Degree in Event Planning, Business Administration, or related field highly favourable.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekend if/when required.
