About the Role
We are looking for an extraordinary, enthusiastic and highly motivated Events Administrator that is inspired to create a unique and memorable guest experience. The position will suit someone who is currently looking to develop and gain further experience & prides in delivering superior customer service at all times! Reporting to the Events Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Events team with promoting, scheduling and administration of social events, seminars and conferences for Bankstown Sports.
Responsibilities included:
- Be first point of contact for events enquiries through phone, website and email queries
- Provide accurate costings in a high volume environment and process customer transactions and bookings
- Utilise the EventPro system to automate information in a central source
- Understand the technical aspects of event delivery and assist in providing advice to the Events team
- Build reliable relationships internally and externally with customer, suppliers and stakeholders
- Recommend best-in-class service approaches
- Assist Events team in the theming and set up of Events
- Ensure all data in EventPro is up-to-date and accurate
- Effectively manage large volumes of event queries
- Demonstrate Bankstown Sports core and Culture values
- Ensure compliance with Bankstown Sports Code of Conduct, all internal policies and procedures and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in events management or working towards
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in events or food and beverage
- Ability to quickly establish relationships via phone, email and face to face
- Ability to manage large volumes of enquiries and bookings
- Knowledge of WHS principles
- Commitment to a high standard of service and customer focus
