This position will report to the Events Sales Manager and will offer key administrative and sales support to both our clients and hotel.
Job Description
Working amongst an incredible C&E team with the direct support of a highly experienced Events Sales Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for coordinating events which includes liaising with the client, preparing & distributing event orders and following the hotel billing procedure
- Conduct site inspections with clients & suppliers
- Respond to enquiries and prepare quotations based on the client needs covering food & beverage and hotel accommodation
- Build relationships and converting business
- Liaise with the Hotel operational teams to ensure exceptional service & successful events are achieved.
- Proven success in events & exceptional communication skills with the ability to easily build rapport with internal and external clients
- A 'can do' attitude
- Ability to work & thrive in a close-knit team environment
- A ‘quick thinker’ with excellent problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and great attention to detail.
- Operational conference & events experience would be highly regarded
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Opera Cloud and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize
