Our client, is a charitable organisation that honours members of Victoria Police who have died in the line of duty by supporting worthwhile community projects within Victoria.
Their fundraising strategy enlists a combination of programmed events and activities, donations and merchandise sales. In addition, the Foundation’s central body, they also have a number of regional branches around Victoria.
About the Role
We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join this small but highly motivated team, who will be responsible for our continued delivery of events and activities and for revising and developing the forward strategy of events and other forms of community engagement.

- You will be working across a variety of projects including existing annual events - Blue Ribbon Day Blue Ribbon Ball The Angela Taylor Memorial Walk/Run, and Inside Story Crime Nights.
- Coordinate their Volunteering Program.
- Build and nuture professional relationships
- Create and implement event Project Plans,
About You
- You have a positive mindset, passionate about generating new ideas, and a willingness to grow!
- You’ll have experience supporting a team, be an excellent communicator, and enjoy all things administration and:
- Love being part of an agile, fun, hardworking team and that also thrives when working independently
- You enjoy project coordination, including planning, budgeting and reporting
- You love the thrill of events and enjoy traveling as this role involves some travel for events and the occasional weekend events.
- You’ll have a high level of influencing skills and ability to negotiate/ confidence to make an ask of sponsors and volunteers
- Attention to detail balanced with a strong imagination and conceptual ability
- You have creativity and passion for generating new ideas
- You have problem-solving skills and be resourceful
