About the Property Council

Position Purpose
You will be responsible for supporting events, social media event marketing (LinkedIn), and all administrative aspects relating to commercial activities (membership, sponsorship and events) in VIC / TAS and provide assistance to VIC / TAS events team to ensure successful delivery of our events program.
Key responsibilities
- Registrations for VIC/TAS events processed as per standard procedures – enter registrations into commercial system and complete all related database record tasks, including ensuring payments are received in advance.
- Deliver the VIC/TAS event program as per the event briefs provided by the Event Manager.
- Working with committee chair and PCA lead to develop agendas and issue minutes and actions.
- Assist with incoming calls to the Property Council’s mainline in a professional and polite manner, responding to requests from members for event information via phone and email regarding event, membership, or sponsorship enquiries.
- Provide administrative support around the sponsorship function for VIC / TAS events, including emailing of information regarding sponsorship opportunities to prospects and entering new member information into internal systems.
- Provide administrative support around the membership function including entering new member and current member information into internal system (CRM) and profiling new members at events and via social media handles.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in event coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer facing environment (events & CRM) would be highly valued.
- Demonstrated experience working with detail-oriented tasks with a high level of accuracy, customer focus & professionalism, self-motivated, excellent communication skills, particularly verbal.
- Good communication skills, in person and by phone. Adapts communication style and medium to suit message and audience.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise. Professional attitude and professional personal presentation. Highly organised and efficient.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well being able to work in a team environment and under direction.
- Mandatory proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience with CRM or event management software is desirable.
