Events Manager With A Strong Background In Health And Fitness

We are seeking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our team as an Events Manager within the Sydney metro area. The ideal candidate is not only passionate about event coordination but is also a dedicated gym rat and health nut. This role combines a love for fitness with excellent organizational and communication skills to create exciting fitness events for our vibrant community.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively plan the full life cycle of the event from schedule development through to implementation including attention to detail and time management
• Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, equipment setup, event decor, staff assignments, scheduling, etc.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote upcoming events through various channels, including social media, and email campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing promotional materials that highlight the benefits and excitement of each event.
• Work within an allocated budget to plan cost-effective events, negotiating contracts with vendors and managing expenses.
• Seek sponsorship opportunities to offset costs and enhance the overall event experience.
• Ensure that all events adhere to Health and safety regulations
• Events are expected to run once a month or in two months
• On days without events, the candidate must contact gyms to schedule activations and setup sampling tables

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one years’ experience in Events Planning & Management, preferably in Health and Fitness.
• Results orientated and willing to take necessary steps to ensure goals are achieved within budget and a timeline.
• Must be passionate about Health and Fitness
• Willingness to learn/use computer programs relevant to the role (eg. to sell and issue event tickets online)
• Excellent self presentation, with an outstanding attitude and work ethic.
• Enjoys working within a team, and is confident to work independently.
• Creative thinking to develop engaging and trendy ideas
• Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving and organisational skills, with attention to detail
• Willingness to travel as the need arises
• Must have a car and valid license as you will be
  required to travel to gyms across Sydney
• Must be able to have fun and not take themselves
  too seriously!
