Part-Time, Job Share ArrangementAn exciting
opportunity at Wagga Wagga City Council exists for a motivated and committed
professional who can play a key role in building and facilitating events in
Wagga Wagga to strengthen the position of the city as a leading regional events
and tourism destination.We are seeking an
Event Officer to join the multi-disciplinary team behind Visit Wagga Wagga.
This role will support the implementation and delivery of Council's event
calendar as well support and mentor community event organisers.If you're excited

position is a Job Share Arrangement - Fourteen (14) hours per week.Remuneration
commencing at $1,215.68 gross per fortnight + superannuation with the
opportunity to advance to $1,458.82 gross per fortnight + 11% superannuation.Supportive,

autonomously managing workloads, working within time-sensitive environments,
and thinking strategically to achieve best practice outcomes.Your dedication, initiative, creativity and finely tuned time
management skills and administrative skills will ensure the successful delivery
of events.You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy all facets of
event development and delivery including the operational demands required on
event days.As a requirement of this
role, you will have:Class C Drivers Licence.Recognised tertiary qualifications in relevant field and/or
substantial equivalent experience in event management and sponsorship programs.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in event planning,
co-ordination, delivery, and evaluation as well as experience in managing event
budgets.Availability to undertake regular work outside normal hours
