Title: Events Production Officer, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $80432.6 to $93476.28 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)
Who we are:
Council, as the manager of our public spaces plays a key role in the delivery of an overarching annual events calendar across the Northern Beaches. A portfolio of over 60 events is delivered by Council’s Events & Partnerships team complimented by community-run and third-party events. The diversity of the portfolio includes major, signature, civic and commemorative events including Manly Jazz, Sun Run, New Years Eve fireworks, Open Air Cinema and World Food Markets.

Our opportunity:The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Organise aspects of project planning, risk management, technical production, post event analysis and marketing and communications as directed to ensure the delivery of creative, innovative and first class events in the Northern Beaches2) Provide logistical support and planning across all allocated event projects3) Liaise with internal departments, event contractors, suppliers, stallholders, artists and performers to seek quotes and support the administration processes required to secure their involvement4) Regularly provide event project progress reports to the Events Producer/s and/or Team Leader, Events
