About the roleA unique opportunity exists to join the Canberra Imaging Group Executive Office as the Executive Administration Officer.
We are seeking a proactive administration professional to work with the dynamic and collegiate executive team. You will be open and approachable, and enjoy working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. You will be willing to roll your sleeves up to learn and to support the team to achieve its goals.
The role will see you working daily to support CIG’s executive team and wider leadership team. The activities include executive support and general administrative duties, communication and event support, and management of organisation wide documentation systems.
Canberra Imaging Group strives to deliver the Canberra and surrounding community with a timely and high-quality standard of medical imaging services. This role contributes to this by supporting the leadership team to achieve the organisation goals for high quality customer service, quality improvement and business growth.
Salary range will be as per the Canberra Imaging Group Enterprise Agreement 2022 – Grade 4 Level 4 Administrative and Support Services Employees Hourly Rates of Pay.
Hourly rate of pay will be $43.11 or an annual salary of $85,185.36 (effective from 1 July 2024) plus superannuation.

ResponsibilitiesThe role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Provision of executive support to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Committee members
- Manage the Executive Office and ensure it is fully resourced at all times
- Proactive management of organisation wide documentation systems, including policy register, Intranet and licencing
- Reception duties at Executive Office including triage of, follow up on, and respond to external enquiries received through email and web contact forms
- Responsive administrative support to clinical teams
- Experience in the provision of executive and administrative support to senior management staff.
- Possess highly developed administrative/secretarial skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Possess superior computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and other software as required.
- Possess superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise effectively with executive staff and external and internal stakeholders.
- Capable of managing multi stream workflow and the ability to work effectively under pressure with limited general supervision.
- Meet deadlines in the performance of work with effective prioritisation of tasks.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to retain confidentiality of all work/business information.
- Capable of handling all information and tasks with the necessary sensitivity.
