About the role

Band 3 - salary range $74,240 - $104,905 per annum (plus Super)

TasNetworks is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant to provide agile, proactive, and comprehensive support to the Executive Governance team. This role involves understanding and adhering to company policies, managing confidential matters, coordinating daily activities, and serving as the main contact point for internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include drafting and managing a broad range of documents, organising both internal and external meetings, handling diary management, travel arrangements, and ensuring the effective management of files and databases. The role also involves supporting leadership meetings, coordinating financial processes, and assisting the Property and Commercial team as needed.

This role is based at our Lenah Valley office and will require some intrastate travel.

About Us

At TasNetworks, we are proud to be the leading provider of electricity transmission and distribution services in Tasmania. With our unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, we deliver a superior electricity supply to over 285,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Our core values and forward-thinking approach make us the trusted brand for all your energy needs.

By joining TasNetworks, you will experience the difference of a company that puts customers first, values safety above all, unifies in the face of challenges, and embraces diversity and forward thinking. Together, we are powering a bright future for Tasmania.

About you

You must have at least 5 years of experience in a corporate or legal environment, supporting senior management at the highest levels to ensure you are well-equipped for the demands of this role, as you become the central point of contact for Executive Governance.

As the go-to person for executive governance, you must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with shareholders, customers, and stakeholders. Your ability to balance the priorities of multiple stakeholders and negotiate timelines for deliverables is critical in supporting the Executive Governance. Additionally, you should have a proven track record in coordinating the distribution of papers and follow-ups, along with assisting the Company Secretary in managing the monthly Board paper process.

To excel in this role, you need strong organisational skills that enable you to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. A keen eye for detail is essential, ensuring accuracy and discretion when handling confidential information. You must also demonstrate the ability to operate independently with sound judgment and self-confidence, including proficiency in speaking effectively in front of groups.

Technological proficiency is a must, particularly with MS Office tools. Your expertise should extend to managing email and diary schedules, coordinating corporate travel, and overseeing catering requirements for meetings.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to TasNetworks' strategic goals within a supportive and collaborative workplace environment.
