We are on the lookout for a super strong and passionate Executive Assistant to support the CEO in this wonderful NFP organisation located in Lilydale.
This is a key, senior Executive Assistant position and a fantastic opportunity for a professional and well-experienced candidate.
In this role you will provide executive support in administration, governance and compliance functions. Reporting to the CEO, the position supports Board and Committee operations, supports governance oversight, statutory reporting and policy/procedural systems for the organisation. You will be working in a complex and highly sensitive environment ensuring appropriate confidentiality and discretion is applied at all times.
Other duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing board papers, taking minutes and coordination of the AGM and other functions in accordance with the constitution and under direction of the CEO
- Providing executive support and advice to contribute to the effective operation of the office of the CEO
- Managing the CEO’s busy calendar
- Anticipating the needs of the CEO’s requirements with the ability to meet or exceed these
- Supporting the CEO at both internal and external meetings as required
- Coordinating of the organisations reporting and ensuring that the reporting meets organisational and compliance requirements
- Ensuring that relevant materials and correspondence are prepared and reviewed
- Coordinating reporting to the Board and other organisational committees and ensuring that reporting meets required timelines
- Supporting the legislative compliance process that relates to Board functions including the monitoring of policy reviews
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
- A solid background as an Executive Assistant
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to foster and build positive working relationships
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent attention to details and a high level of organisational skills
- The ability to meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to meet changing demands and priorities
- An understanding of contemporary governance and compliance principles and practices
- A readiness to accept high levels of responsibility
