About the Opportunity:
PSL is looking for an Executive Chef that can embrace the vision of the current venues and enhance the experience in each of the restaurant with outstanding and out of the ordinary food.
The candidate needs to see the potential in existing and new staff member in order to delegate and push forward new concepts and new menus when required.
Sky is the limit for this position.
The Candidate:
- Proof of experience as either a Executive Chef, Executive Sous or Head Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Create multiple teams across all venues.
- Build a solid cross production schedule from our centralised kitchen to supply all venues
- Fusion Asian, South American and European cuisine experience.
- Experience creating and costing menus and ad-hoc activations.
- Track record of leading teams that deliver outcomes
- Ability to manage staff performance, including unsatisfactory performance
- Display exemplary leadership and passion for global cuisine trends
- Understanding of financial budgets, food and labour costs
- Experience in managing and maintaining food safety program including documentation
- Rostering and ordering experience
- Monitor and supervise OH&S standards and procedure
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Outstanding time management
- Calm and composed demeanour
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

With 4 new venues opening in Brisbane, 1 in Sydney in 2024 and 3 more in Brisbane in 2025, we expect the candidate to bring not only experience but as well a solid networking of staff members ready to follow the group growth.
