About the Position
In this role, you will provide tailored strategic support and guidance to our Deputy CEO, contributing directly to our organisational success. You’ll uphold excellent communication standards, operating with discretion and professionalism as you foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure effective governance practices. You will also provide leadership to the Executive Assistant team members in streamlining processes and modernising ways of working.
Duties to support the Deputy CEO will include, but are not limited to, preparing minutes, agendas and presentations, compliance tasks, preparing internal and external communications, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the operating context of the corporate services division of the organisation.
Full Time ongoing position. Band 4.1 salary $97,159.92 p.a. plus 11% superannuation.
Your experience and skills (key criteria):
- Relevant tertiary qualification or certification with subsequent relevant work experience in business or office administration
- Proven experience providing support to senior stakeholders within a complex, fast-paced office environment
- High level verbal and written communication skills including experience developing a range of reports, papers, presentations and correspondence
- Proven experience managing complex schedules, with the ability to exercise judgement around duration, timing and prioritisation
- An ability to build relationships with a wide range of people both inside and outside the organisation
- Ability to exercise initiative to drive solutions
- Ability to exercise judgement, discretion and maintain a very high level of confidentiality
- Proven experience with and understanding of current technologies, operating systems and applications, including advanced experience with the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to learn and apply new technologies within a reasonable timeframe.

The Executive Team comprises of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and four Executive Directors (‘ED’s) - Performing Arts, Development, First Nations, and Audiences and Destination.
The Deputy CEO is accountable for the Operations Pillar which encompasses Finance and PMO, General Counsel, Risk Management, Reimagining Project, Digital Transformation, Facilities, People and Culture, Strategy and Advocacy, and Data and Insights.
