- Develop and execute a visionary, long-term plan to ensure financial stability and strategic planning.
- Develop innovative strategies and action plans, elevating MCCCC quality, productivity, and professionalism.
- Oversee identifying, assessing, and mitigating organisational risks, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Foster and instil a culture of improvement, encouraging adaptability and a commitment to ongoing enhancement.
- Provide subject matter expertise pertaining broadly to early learning including legal, regulatory, and professional requirements and support to the Committee of Management.
- Act as the official representative of MCCCC, articulating its’ interests and concerns in various forums and networks, while nurturing essential relationships, and cultivating collaborative partnerships and strategic alliances with local government and community stakeholders.
- Relevant qualification (Early Childhood, Management, Business) and/or experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, community partners, and industry networks.
- Proven understanding of the early childhood education challenges for long daycare.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic vision, demonstrating leadership in guiding the organisation toward its long-term goals.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and manage strategic and operational risks, coupled with expertise in ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional requirements.
- Significant leadership experience and ability to lead and motivate high- performing teams across multiple sites, fostering strong teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of Government legislation, regulations and industry awards, the current policy, legislation, regulations and issues affecting the Early childhood sectors.
