A strategic partner to the CEO, the successful candidate will take complete ownership of the function to design best practice across policies, process and systems which directly impact the outcomes achieved by the organisation.
The Executive Leadership Team has a clear vision - be community led, capable and adaptive, and impactful. The Executive Manager Finance will be a critical enabler to achieve this, leading a team in delivering customer-centric systems and services that enable the business and finding innovative solutions to improve performance.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and leading a team of five the Executive Manager Finance will;
- Provide expert financial advice and analysis to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors on all strategic and operational aspects of financial management
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the organisation
- Establish frameworks and processes that underpin optimal financial management and reporting
- Increase transparency and unification of systems, reporting dashboards and processes
- Provide leadership and coaching to the Finance team, fostering a culture of support, collaboration and innovation to drive continuous business improvement
About You

For this role, we are seeking a motivated and commercially astute Finance professional that can speak with confidence to enhancing operational efficiencies across a comparable function. In addition, the successful candidate will have;
- Experience providing visibility to the Executive through evidenced accurate and relevant recording and reporting of data
- Tertiary Qualifications in a Finance related discipline, CPA, or CA qualified and/or MBA
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relational skills, with the ability to connect with clients, community and staff
- Strong personal commitment to working in a for purpose organisation
The Organisation
Woodville Alliance is a medium-sized, community-based organisation with services and programs in disability, mental health, family and youth support, community development and early childhood education and care.
Their head office is in Fairfield, and they work across Western Sydney. Communities in this area are ethnically diverse, with low-income levels and high levels of disadvantage. Woodville Alliance’s work is underpinned by a commitment to social justice. Staff engagement is high, and they have a strong emphasis on quality assurance and adapting to needs.
