About the role
The ECA Learning HubExecutive Manager is a pivotal senior leadership role overseeing the development and deployment of cutting-edge Online Learning resources and special projects. As a strategic leader, you will play a key role in aligning our online professional learning initiatives with ECA's values and Strategic Plan, ensuring consistency, and achieving organisational objectives.
As ECA Learning HubExecutive Manager you will:
  • Lead and manage the ECA Learning Hub team, providing high-level oversight of projects and initiatives.
  • Efficiently manage project timelines, budgets, and resource development.
  • Strategically forecast and plan ECA's Online Learning resources to meet evolving sector needs.
  • Maintain professional learning standards and quality control, contributing to organisation-wide policies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive team to achieve ECA's strategic and business plan objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the early childhood education and care sector.
About you
As the ECA Learning HubExecutive Manager, you are a dynamic and forward-thinking professional poised to spearhead our Online Learning initiatives. You embody strategic vision, boasting a proven track record in adeptly managing high-performing teams and propelling projects to success. Your profound understanding of early childhood and adult education, combined with hands-on experience in online professional learning, positions you as a pivotal contributor to the development and deployment of cutting-edge learning resources.
Selection criteria
  • Leadership acumen for fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Robust communication skills ensuring consistency and quality in professional learning offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to support learners in an adult learning environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good verbal/written communication skills.
Required
  • Tertiary qualification in early childhood education—minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care plus minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in adult learning—minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment plus practical experience in developing and delivering high-quality professional learning.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a professional team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated successful project management and budget oversight.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable
  • Experience in the development and delivery of accredited vocational training.
  • Familiarity with Online Learning development, management, and pricing.
  • Proficiency in authoring software such as Articulate and Learning Management Systems like Moodle.
This position is full-time, 12-month contract (leave cover position), based at the ECA National Office in Fyshwick, ACT. A current Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People check will be required for the duration of your employment with ECA.
Infrequent out of hour work and interstate travel may be required.
