An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced and motivated Executive Manager People & Culture to join this well established and highly regarded Australian business to maximise the strategic and operational management of the organisation’s human resources activities.
Role Overview
The Executive Manager People & Culture will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing people management within the business including the management of human resources, recruitment, payroll, work health and safety, public liability, and food safety functions in line with the organisation’s key strategic objectives. This role will have a strong focus on industrial relations, payroll, effective performance management, cultural development, as well as policy and procedures maintenance.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate must have proven HR management experience within the retail or FMCG sectors. Experience with industrial relations and payroll along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly the ability to build relationships and work with a range of stakeholders is a must. This role requires sound knowledge and experience in HR systems and WHS. A confident and resilient individual with exceptional negotiation skills and possessing appropriate tertiary qualifications is highly desirable for this role.
