Position Overview:
As the Executive Manager of Portfolio Project Management, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the strategic initiatives of Campbelltown City Council. Reporting directly to the Director of City Services, you will be responsible for steering the council's Project Management endeavors, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Council's Portfolio Project Management functional area, overseeing project prioritization, resource allocation, and governance.
- Ensure adherence to Council's corporate Project Management frameworks and processes, maintaining overall reporting standards.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team in alignment with organizational values.
- Foster collaboration across the organization, working closely with executives, functional leaders, and stakeholders.
- Promote Campbelltown positively, facilitating community and stakeholder engagement through successful project delivery.
- Manage project governance, documentation, and reporting to Executive Team and Council.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet project commitments and enhance organizational efficiency.
- Lead the City Projects team, ensuring staff development, collaboration, and a customer-focused culture.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, internally and externally.
- Drive effective organizational change and facilitate cross-organizational collaboration.
- Formal Project Management certification.
- Extensive experience in team leadership including leading a multidiscipline team .
- Substantial experience in Project Management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills includi.
