Posted: 12/01/2024 Closing Date: 09/02/2024 Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Cannington Job Category: Community Services and Development Job Description About the role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will oversee the production and coordination of tenders and proposals. This role will see tenders throughout the full life cycle, from pre-qualification stage to post-submission activities. This role will also support the development of organisational policies. The role will participate in developing our partnerships with Universities and provide supervision of University research students. The role will also assist in the development and implementation of our service evaluation framework. This role will also assist in ensuring the voice of lived experience is heard across the organisation, particularly by those recovering from mental distress and the Aboriginal communities. This role will also be involved in some key projects which include; Developing a research and evaluation framework in the services, supervising students who are measuring the impact of our Rainbow Tick Community of Practice, overseeing the development and implementation of our Youth Services Plan, and participating in the development of our reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Operations Provide operational leadership for research projects and strategic initiatives. Manage project governance, timelines, and financial oversight. Oversee organization-wide projects aligned with the Strategic Plan. Maintain research partnerships and deliver research papers with universities. Contribute to projects amplifying voices of lived experiences at RW. Assist in tender and grant preparation, monitoring progress, and meeting deadlines. Provide policy development and review recommendations. Relationship Management Develop networks with partners for project delivery. Build internal and external links across RW for project coordination. Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders for tenders/grants. Conduct research on service models and policy development. Desired Skills and Experience About you We are seeking an experienced Policy and Project Officer for an ongoing part-time 0.8 FTE or full-time opportunity (Monday to Friday). To be considered for this role. you will meet the following criteria; Essential Qualification in Business or Communications is desirable Knowledge of and experience with organisational change management processes. Understanding of research and evaluation in a social services setting. Previous experience in tender and grant submissions and proven coordination of proposals is essential. Experience in the development and review of policies Ability to design and deliver projects across several teams at an organisation.…
