Job Description
The Executive Reward Manager is a key member of the Performance, Reward and HR Technology team.
The role is responsible for managing, overseeing and enhancing all executive performance and remuneration processes across all of BlueScope’s global operations. The role is also responsible for assisting the Global Head of Performance, Reward and HR Technology with Board and governance matters, including the drafting of Board papers and the annual remuneration report, working with the Company Secretarial team to ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time and ensuring BlueScope’s Non-Executive Director and executive remuneration processes and framework are strategically and shareholder aligned.
- Accurate drafting of well thought out and researched Board papers.
- Delivery of an accurate and concise remuneration report.
- Responsible for advising the business on the executive remuneration framework and levels.
- Oversight for all executive remuneration processes including fixed remuneration reviews, incentive payouts and equity allocations and vestings.
- Co-creation of new and enhanced executive incentive and equity plans.
- Ensuring global consistency when it comes to executive remuneration and grading.

Ideally we are looking for:
- Minimum five years’ experience in Executive Reward, ideally within a Global company
- Experience in writing Board papers and the annual remuneration report.
- Track record of delivering impactful solutions in a globally complex organization.
- Experience in influencing in an ASX organisation with complex stakeholder relationships and at times, competing needs.
- Knowledge and application of broad reward governance and operational requirements across various jurisdictions.
- Thorough knowledge of executive remuneration governance and legal requirements.
- A reward thought leader with strong track record of dealing with complex business challenges, able to change the work culture and distil key insights to drive executive alignment.
- Demonstrated standards of integrity and values.
- Able to lead remuneration and performance projects autonomously
