The Role

Reporting to the Head of Performance, Planning & Projects, this critical role will manage the end-to-end Reward and Performance programs, providing subject matter expertise and advice on frameworks and cyclical activities in line with MLC Life's established reward and recognition policies and frameworks.
Acting as a trusted partner to colleagues in the People function and cross-functionally, you will provide effective remuneration solutions which support achievement of business objectives. You will ensure that MLC Life's remuneration frameworks, policies and practices are correctly applied and governed, ensuring remuneration practices are consistent, fair, and equitable across the organisation.
You will monitor remuneration trends, review market data, participate in industry forums and keep abreast of regulatory changes to ensure our reward frameworks reflect up to date market information and best practice.
You will be responsible for remuneration reporting, including preparation of the annual Workplace Gender Equality analysis; and support in the preparation of Board RemCo and management committee papers.
About You
With proven prior experience in Senior Reward/Remuneration roles, you will possess comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of total reward, particularly within the financial services sector.
A true subject matter expert, you pride yourself on your skilled ability to apply Performance and remuneration design, theory, methodology and best practice to the work you execute. You are well versed in navigating highly regulated environments and can build strong cross-functional credibility. Your sense of pro-activeness and initiative enables you to work autonomously or as part of a high performing team. Your solution focus and analytical mindset will ensure success in this key role.
Ideally you will have experience in understanding and responding regulatory change requirements for remuneration.
