Exercise Physiologist

Permanent Part Time -64 hours per fortnight

Classification: Dependant on Experience

Award: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2026

MDHS is seeking a Grade 1 or 2 Exercise Physiologist to join our Community Services team in this permanent role. In this position you will be expected to work across both acute and community teams. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and eligibility for full membership with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
• Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of chronic and age-related conditions.
• Demonstrated understanding and skills in group work.
• Established practice in the principles of client-centred practice.
• Understanding and skills in health promotion and program development.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and skills in group work.
• Ability to communicate in a timely and effective manner
