With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:We have an opportunity for a passionate Grade 3 Exercise Physiologist to join the team at Broadmeadows Hospital, Northern Health.The Grade 3 Exercise Physiologist has responsibility for the organisation, implementation and supervision of EP care at Broadmeadows Hospital and across services at Northern Health. This includes clinical support for staff, team and management of the EP under-graduate student program. Through clinical expertise the applicant will have a leading role in ensuring excellence in client care, promotion of quality and fostering evidence based care. They will also be involved in program development across Northern Health and Allied Health.This role is full time 80 hours per fortnight, long service leave cover from 8 July 2024 to 7 August 2024.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Significant experience and clinical expertise in Exercise Physiology
- An appreciation of Exercise Physiology services in an organisational context and as a senior staff member is able to take responsibility for leading and managing resources to meet the requirements of NH
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care
- Demonstrated ability to lead and promote evidence based practice
- Possesses practical negotiation and conflict resolution skills
