Exercise Physiologist
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Exercise Physiologist to join our expanding multidisciplinary allied health team.
Job Summary – About the role
- Private Practice Exercise Physiologist - The ideal candidate would preferably have at least 1-2 years of experience within the profession; however, new grads are welcome to apply.
- Located in Albion Park, NSW 2527.
- Salary - $75,000 - $95,000 (FTE based on experience)
- Hours: 16-38 / week

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team: Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, AHA's and Social and Community workers.
- Two locations with fully equipped purpose-built on-site rehabilitation gym’s
Duties
This role will allow you to develop your clinical experience by providing services predominantly in private practice; however, the opportunity exists to work with patients within corporate settings and in their homes.
In this role, you will:
- Develop Individualised Exercise Plans: Assess clients' fitness levels, health status, and goals to design personalised exercise programs tailored to their needs and abilities.
- Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations, including cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, balance and flexibility, to establish baseline data and track progress.
- Provide Exercise Instruction: Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and supervise clients during workouts to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare providers to develop integrated treatment plans for clients with medical conditions or injuries.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of client assessments, progress reports, and communication with healthcare professionals in compliance with legal, professional and company standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full ESSA Registration
- Friendly personality and team player
- Ideally 1-2 years’ experience within the field
- Medicare Provider Number and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Working with children's check
- First Aid
- SIRA Registration
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to build and maintain patient rapport
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- Time management skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Must be motivated
