- Support various functions across JB (including IT, Marketing, Merch Services and Retail Ops) to create experiences which ultimately drive user engagement, customer and team member satisfaction and loyalty.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, translating their ideas and UX/UI requirements into visually compelling designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a detail-oriented mindset, excellent organisational skills, and effective time management.
- Proactively problem solve and adapt to new technologies and design trends.
- Synthesise research, test data and insights into engaging visual presentations for stakeholders.
- Hypothesise, develop prototypes, test, and execute solutions for unique business and technical problems.
- Create and iterate intuitive and engaging user experiences that meet user needs and expectations.
- Support IT projects and initiatives by leading the UX design aspects, ensuring a user-centered focus throughout the development process.
- Execute detailed User Testing plans, including scheduling and facilitation of user testing.
- Apply a solid understanding of User-Centered Design principles to all aspects of design work.
- Maintain internal design systems to ensure long-term consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with in-store teams to develop innovative solutions and generate new ideas.
- 3-5 years' experience in UX/UI design.
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial design, Interaction Design, UX/UI or a related field
- Background working within a retail organisation (desirable)
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work with a focus on Human Centered Design.
- Experience designing user interfaces (UX/UI) for web and mobile applications.
- Experience in designing and shipping software/product experiences for multiple device types and contexts.
- Fluency with Figma, Dovetail, Miro and other research/design tools for collaborating, designing, prototyping, and testing.
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory, layout techniques, and branding concepts.
