We're looking for experienced Cooks to join our team (Minimum 2 years) and (Minimum Qualifiction Cert IV Commercial Cookery). A superior knowledge of West African dishes is essential and Required for this role. This is a full time role at approx. 38Hrs per week.

As part of this role your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage all activities in the kitchen, including West African food preparation and production
- Setting up work stations with needed ingredients and equipment
- Ensure food and all other items are labelled and stored properly
- Monitor stock of West African food ingredients and place orders when there are shortages
- Display superior knowledge of preparing and cooking the main menu items
- Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met
- Adhere to best cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends, public holidays as required.
