As a result of solid growth in our business, we are offering an outstanding opportunity for a high performing experienced Draftsperson to join our residential design/drafting team.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing and detailing a wide variety and complex range of single and two storey high end homes, unique and innovative display homes, and occasionally delve into a range of government projects and multi-unit developments. Key functions in your role will include:
- Design and preparation of working drawings for high end custom designed homes and display houses.
- Production of sales sketches and working drawings as needed.
- Proactively communicating with stakeholders, consultants, and internal team members to ensure timely production of sketches/working drawings.
- Ordering & monitoring progress of external consultant’s details / drawings
- Checking sketches/working drawings for accuracy
- Keeping drawings up to date to ensure a smooth building construction process.
Ideally, as the successful candidate you will have:
- 5+ years’ experience within the Western Australian market.
- Strong Understanding of the R-Codes and council regulations
- Proficiency with ArchiCAD 22 or later.
- High level knowledge of residential construction in two storey & single storey Primarily for traditional & framed construction, but alternative construction methods would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate high levels of presentation and clarity on all drawings with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team to help form a positive, strong & vibrant environment.
- Strong creative skills with experience of Twinmotion 3D rendering software will be highly regarded.
