Dasco Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. As a Compliance-focused organization, we strive for excellence in every project, ensuring our designs not only look spectacular but are safe to build and adhere to all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Always work within prescribed safety directions either in the office or when attending a construction site.
- Prepare architectural drawings at the direction of the Design Manager or Directors.
- Verify and check plans and any necessary site documentation.
- Interpreting building plans, building regulations and Codes of Practice as directed in relation to sections of work.
- Prepare and review design and services coordination documents.
- Manage specific document control, ensuring the most current documents are filed and distributed for construction.
- Preparing information for various project progress reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of quantity take offs, estimating and preparation of tender documents, scopes of work and evaluation of same.
- Assist in preparing construction drawings.
- Liaising with Project and Construction Manager, Site Foreman on design issues.
- Assist in preparing data to satisfy Council and PCA requirements to obtain Occupation Certificates as may be required.
- Where required, assist in inspecting building work to ensure compliance with plans specifications and regulations and those proper techniques and materials are used.
- Attending and organising design meetings and preparing accurate minutes and documentation.
Remuneration: A Total Remuneration Package of up to $100,000 (including superannuation) depending on experience, and based on full-time employment, to be awarded to the successful applicant.
