ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is a permanent full- time position based on 38 hours a week in a renowned location for a commercial project.
Must hold a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
Must have a White Card.
A current police check.
Minimum 2 years' painting experience
Competitive salary package AUD 35.00 per hour + Superannuation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching imperfections.
2. Apply primers and undercoats to ensure proper adhesion of paint.
3. Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures.
4. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
5. Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all painting tasks.
6. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Communicate with the client.
7. Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition.
8. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times. Ability to work safely at all heights.
9. Ability to work unsupervised
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is preferred but not compulsory if you prove to have the right skills suitable for this position.
