The Role
Douglas Partners is looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team.
You will work closely with our Laboratory Managers and senior staff and will be trained to perform soil, aggregate and concrete testing in accordance with relevant national and state standards. The position consists of hands-on testing, analytical assessment on data and or the preparation of test reports.
On the job training is available for applicants with no prior experience.
About You
The successful candidates will possess:
- Experience working in a soil laboratory environment – highly regarded
- Experience in earthworks operations with Level 1 earthworks supervision to AS3798 and Level 2 earthworks testing;
- A current Nuclear Gauge Licence – essential;
- A good understanding of Australian Standards for soil, aggregate and concrete testing;
- Current Australian manual drivers licence – essential
- OH&S Induction card;
- A high level of initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and be a team player.
- Excellent communication skills, motivation and commitment to deliver work to the highest standard will be highly regarded.
- Exceptional record keeping and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team;
- Previous NATA signatory experience would be an advantage.
