AddressARC Planning are a progressive town planning firm who are currently seeking a motivated Town Planner with at least 1 year experience in lodging applications This is a must have. CAD Experience preferred.
The role will be based in Caboolture with the preferred candidate having a working knowledge of the City of Moreton Bay Planning Scheme and is confident working in other jurisdictions including Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and surrounding councils.
Must be self motivated and needs to be able to work unsupervised.
Tasks include:
- CAD drafting of proposal plans
- Preliminary research into the development potential of a site
- Providing guidance to clients and stakeholders
- Preparation and management of Development Applications across SE Qld councils
- Reviewing approvals
- Consultant management
- Other duties will include answering phone enquiries.
Skills and Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in Town Planning or a similar degree
- 1 year minimum experience in a similar role writing applications
- Experience in preparation and managing development applications (3 examples of previous work required - must be authored by the applicant)
- A good understanding of the Planning Act 2016, Development Assessment rules, Planning Regulation 2017, State Development Assessment Provisions, State Planning Policies and assorted planning schemes.
- A drivers licence
