ABOUT THE ROLE

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from small to large scale, varying sectors from small to large residential to large commercial and government across various locations. DUTIES
•Due diligence and pre-acquisition advice to clients
•Prepare and lodge reports/development applications in accordance with Queensland planning legislation, policies, and guidelines.
•Review technical reports
•Attend site inspections and prepare reports for development applications.
•Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide advice and the ability to push and negotiate on behalf of their clients.
•Strategic and statutory planning advice to public sector
•Review planning schemes
•Manage a team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Tertiary qualifed in Town Planning
•Ideally 8 plus years plus industry experience in Queensland
•Experienced in preparing town planning reports
•Knowledge and proficiency in Queensland planning legislation, policies, and guidelines
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and apply planning legislation
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate with developers, local councils, and statutory authorities.
•Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
•Organised and efficient with time management
