Job Tasks and Responsibilities
In this exciting period of growth, a number of opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Electrical Trade. Reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), your responsibilities will include:
- To supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine.
- Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition.
- Operate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce.
Skills and Experience
Our Essential Criteria
- Underground Coal Mining experience or Relevant Heavy Industry plant experience.
- Electrical Supervisors License
- A professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine.
- Sound planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
