Qualifications & experience
- At least 1 years experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- At least 1 years experience in Logistics/Freight/Export management
- Strong organisational skills and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in the meat export industry is a plus
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential for this role
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage and organise incoming and outgoing emails
- Assist in Export and Logistics services
- Process and track invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
- Maintain and update office records and databases
- Provide general administrative support to the team as required
