Expression Of Interest - Offshore Wind Energy (All Levels)

WSP's Renewables Team is seeking expressions of Interest from those with a passion for and experience within the Offshore Wind Industry. As the Australian Offshore Wind industry continues to mature and we continue to grow the number of Offshore Wind projects that we work on, we are looking to expand our reach by adding exceptional people!Your international Offshore Wind experience will enable us to build our capacity and work on even greater projects. Collaborate across WSP with our counterparts in Geotech, Ports & Maritime, Planning & Approvals and Communications & Engagement, while continuing to foster our own technical work on electrical and transmission system design and Energy Yield Analysis.We are a local team backed by a solid network of Offshore Wind specialists across WSP's global footprint so you will also work closely with our Offshore Wind colleagues in the UK, US and Asia.As a National Energy Team, you will have the ability to work from any of our Australian offices and therefore we welcome expressions of Interest from those anywhere in Australia, as well as anyone currently based overseas who would be willing to relocate here.About our Energy TeamOur Energy Team helps clients maintain safe and reliable power supplies, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and deliver future energy schemes to support sustainable city transitions. Our team has expertise in solar, onshore wind, Offshore Wind, battery storage, hydropower, waste-to-energy and bioenergy, thermal energy, transmission and electrification.What you'll do:

• Responsible for delivering feasibility and concept studies to support Offshore Wind projects in the pre feasibility licence application period
• Responsible for delivering Front End Engineering and Design and Employers Requirements to support Offshore Wind projects during the development phase (post feasibility licence award)
• Coordinate and collaborate across WSP's different business units to provide an integrated service to Offshore Wind clients
• Foster and continue to develop client relationships and monitor their engagement
• Interface with clients including preparation of reports and presentations
• Responsible for risk management and influencing key decisions

About You

• Engineering qualifications (electrical, mechanical or civil)
• Experience as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager or Package Manager
• Practical experience with a proven track record in the Offshore Wind industry (5 years or more of experience would be highly desirable)
• Strong communication skills and a high standard of written communication
• Natural connector with ability to foster relationships with cross functional teams and clients
• Contribute to the team's broader business development efforts including developing relationships with new clients and participating in project proposals
