About the role:Extended Care Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and committed aged care professionals. We work together by providing personalised support to deliver the best possible care and services to residents to meet their individual needs and preferences.
- Assisting residents with daily living and mobility duties such as showering, feeding and toileting to enhance daily life
- Building and maintaining supportive relationships with residents, clients and their families to strengthen relationships within the business and local community
- Recognising changes in clients conditions and report observations and concerns
About you:This is the place for you if you have:
- Hold a current Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Are known for your caring and compassionate nature
- Have the initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Are available to work AM, PM and ND (commitment to 3 or 4 consecutive overnight shifts highly desirable)
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
- Are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
