Glenhaven is a Christian Community Service organisation that supports our community through Family Support Services, Disability Support Services and Out of Home Care. We are looking for a person that can support day to day administrative tasks.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our busy team. This role is part time, 7 days per fortnight (0.7 FTE) and is based in our Launceston office.
You will possess strong computer skills, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and a kind, friendly demeanour. Applicants with a Certificate III in Business or similar will be highly desirable.
In addition, the following are requirements for the position:
- Hold a current unrestricted (P2 or above) driver's license.
- Hold a NDIS endorsed Working with Vulnerable People card or be able to obtain one.
- Hold a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check or happy to submit to one.
- Due to the inherent requirements of the advertised role, you are encouraged to ensure at all times whilst employed, you are vaccinated against the following: (a) COVID-19; (b) any other pandemic that is recommended under the National Health Management Strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact and assisting with general enquiries;
- Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, filing and scheduling;
- Photocopying / scanning / printing;
- Ordering office supplies; and
- Other admin tasks and discretionary duties as requested.
