About the Opportunity:As the
External Affairs Manager on this
12 month contract, you will play a key role in shaping the company's environment and strategy. Your responsibilities will include liaising with advocacy groups, developing communication strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will take ownership of brands, drive product launches, and manage media inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute communication and advocacy strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical and market access
- Work closely with PR agencies to enhance brand visibility
- Lead product launches and media engagement
- Shape the healthcare environment for product launch
- Contribute to strategic internal communications planning
- Support corporate affairs initiatives across therapeutic areas
Skills and Experience:- 5+ years of experience in environment shaping and/or patient advocacy
- Experience in corporate affairs, PR, or related fields
- Strong media engagement and advocacy group experience
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence access policy programs
- Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and pharmaceutical access environment
- Effective team collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal presentation and communication abilities
- A degree in communications or related field preferred
