About the company
This is an opportunity to use your existing knowledge and experience in co-ordinating commercial property maintenance and facilities work and build on it in a professional and supportive government team environments.
About the role
Our clients requires individuals with a strong level of facilities experience and or project management experience, excellent communication and relationship management, quick thinking and problem solving skills
Key duties will involve
- Coordinate and arrange for repairs and maintenance work to be completed at Accommodation properties
- Acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of stakeholders internal and external and providing access by contractors, providing contractor site inductions where required and ensuring public utilities are in place
- Delivering efficient and effective facilities management activities and oversight of minor works at assigned facilities
- Continuous improvement in the delivery of facility management
services and effective operational management for allocated sites - Monitoring property maintenance and maintaining accurate and timely records
- Coordinating and delivering facility or accommodation projects
- High level report writing and communication skills
Currently there is a senior level role for immediate start which requires property acquistion and disposal / land assessment experience, if you have experience as a planner / development and planning background, please indicate this in your email to taryn@edgerecruit.com.au

To be successful for this role it is essential that you :
- Have proven experience in a facilities, building management, property or asset management role
- Are available immediately
- Have a current national police clearance
- Full Drivers Licence
- High level ability to investigate, analyse and evaluate problems
- Able to effectively provide advice to executives and senior officers
- To be available for immediate start
