The Role & The Team
As the Facilities Contract Manager you will provide effective leadership while developing and delivering the strategic procurement of sub-contractor services for the Facilities team. You will ensure that the procurement, contract, financial and performance management activities support and enhance the Facilities and Property Services delivery across all Airservices’ locations. These include but are not limited to fire services, cleaning services, grounds maintenance, catering services, utilities, minor works projects & reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities. The success will be to ensure all services are managed to required outcomes within key timeframes.
This newly formed role will see you join a dynamic and fast-faced environment where you will closely collaborate with peers while building key relationships, contributing actively and positively in the management of contracted services for Airservices.

The Person
The successful applicant will have:
- A formal qualification in a Facilities, Building or Property related discipline.
- Proven high level/or extensive procurement and contract management skills in environments with similar attributes to the delivery of Facilities and Property Services.
- Solid demonstrated relevant experience in managing contracts in the built environment, construction management and/ or project management across a complex multi-site region with a range of facilities.
- Strong communications skills and excellent knowledge and understanding of the Facilities Contracting industry and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills in relation to dealing with a wide range of managers, staff and external service providers.
- Strong experience in contractor relationship development and practices in overseeing key supplier and sub-contractor arrangements for facilities management including the provision on building repairs and maintenance, soft services and projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contracting legislative and statutory requirements applying to facilities and maintenance contracts.
- Training in Procurement and/or Contract Management.
