About you:
We are looking for someone who has good communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels. A can do attitude, a good learning aptitude with a willingness to constantly update knowledge will be key to your success in this role.
It is important that you have good attention to detail, and the ability to see patterns, trends or missing pieces as you will be required to investigate issues with a thorough approach.
Experience & competencies
- Knowledge and/or experience in a facility or maintenance support role
- Some knowledge and understanding in coordinating with external suppliers and contractors
- An understanding of service agreements and contracting processes
- Strong computer literacy with skills and experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages and applications

Your responsibilities will include:
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will ensure the effective day to day coordination of facilities and maintenance activities for Lockheed Martin Australia House.
You will be an in integral member of our facilities team, supporting facilities management of the Canberra office. You will be the primary point of contact for all maintenance and facilities requests.
Some of the key activities you will undertake are:
- Assist in the provision of generalist support on a range of facility activities.
- Escort contractors to ensure acceptable quality standards of work are performed, confirm they hold appropriate licences, and ensure they undertake relevant WHS induction(s).
- Assist in ensuring equipment is serviceable, failures are quickly diagnosed, and repairs are made in accordance with authorised technical manuals or instructions in a responsive manner.
- Assist with first level diagnostics and rectification of defects as appropriate
- Perform associated administrative tasks, including maintaining appropriate documentation and records including plans, warranty records, maintenance and defect records, and user guides.
