About the role:
The Facilities Coordinator role is responsible for the management of work requests, including the review and issuing of work orders to contractors. The role supports the Facilities Managers on deliverables relating to the delivery of maintenance operations.
The purpose of the Facility Coordinator role is to actively support the delivery of reactive and PPM maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and triage reactive and PPM work orders and ensure appropriate allocation and acceptance through the contractor network including re-allocation when required.
* Under the direction of the Facilities Managers, respond promptly to requests for building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc. from clients and for the implementation of ongoing contract programs to address and resolve needs and problems
* Monitor the current work orders (including PPM Programs) to ensure these are completed on time and appropriately managed throughout their lifecycle with focus on scope and budget.
* Review of contractors quotes in line with delegation guidelines with a determination of value for money.
* Review of contractors work completion timeframes and upload of completion documentation (photos, service reports, etc)
* Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails in a professional manner
* Undertake audits as needed of facilities maintenance activities across PPM and reactive works ensuring the even distribution of audits across the geographical area of the region
Qualifications:
* An equivalent qualification in facilities management or related field.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
