The Role:

My Client is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Coordinator to join their Facilities Management team within their Sydney CBD office. The Facilities Coordinator will contribute to the premium experience expected by the tenants and visitors. This role demands strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

The Facilities Coordinator will contribute to maintaining a productive and comfortable work environment for all the employees within the building. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for facilities management to further their career in a dynamic and diverse organisation.

Job Duities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the company's facilities, including managing any of the maintenance requests, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor the performance of service providers and contractors to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Assist the Onsite Facilities Manager to optimise the utilization of office space and workstations. Assist the FM in the planning and execution of office relocations, including coordinating with relevant stakeholders and service providers.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Support all the implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs and policies in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the building, including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and other essential facilities.
  • Monitor expenses, track invoices, and reconcile accounts related to facility services and maintenance activitie
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards or safety concerns.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding facility-related concerns, inquiries, and requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Facilities Management (Highly Desirable)
  • Commercial (Corporate Asset Experience) (Highly Desirable)
  • Previous experience in same or similar position (Highly Regarded)

Extra Details:

  • Location: Sydney CBD
  • Commercial A Grade Premium Building Asset - (Corporate Office)
  • Office is 9000 sq ft with typically around 60 users
  • Permanent Part-Part Time Role
  • Salary Range:$45,000 - $55,000 + Super (Based on 25 hour working week - Monday - Friday)
  • Working office hours: 8:30am - 1:30pm
