Permanent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Customer Care Manager to join a leading property developer based in Melbourne's inner suburbs.
As the Facilities Customer Care Manager, you will a key part of both the Building Management and Construction teams. Your key responsibility will be to liaise between the Development and Delivery Team, Builders, Purchasers and Residents, Building Management and Operations Teams, and outsourced facilities management providers
The day to day
- Educate parties on settlement processes, including logging defects, turnaround times and clarification on what is a defect.
- Co-ordinate, and be involved in defecting prior to pre-settlement inspections, with the Development Team.
- Review and ensure all pre-settlement defects are reinspected and closed out.
- Champion calls/meetings with residents regarding defects & incomplete works.
- Determine actions for disputed defects, by either the resident or the builder, including inspecting items and determining an outcome.
- Track defect statuses and follow up relevant parties to ensure items are closed out in a timely manner.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria
- Experience working in a building management and/or hotel management space in a similar role
- Proven success in dispute resolution
- Critical thinker with the ability to foresee issues and action according
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, adaptability to new software packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Availability to work from the office full time
