We currently have a 2 month opening for an experienced Facilities Officer to step in and assist this local Shire at a busy time.
As part of a small team, you will be responsible for providing professional maintenance services and undertaking minor capital improvements to the Shires hard assets.
This is a key role that will see you supporting the areas of parks, reserves and buildings.We are seeking a candidate that has a broad understanding of repairing and maintaining building assets and brings some contract management experience.
The successful candidate will bring considerable experience in a similar role and possess great interpersonal communications skills.Essential criteria:
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritising skills
- Strong working knowledge of maintenance practices
- Participation in on-call roster 6. Excellent customer service skills
- Well-developed computer skills
- Sound knowledge of relevant Western Australian Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- ‘C’ Class driver’s licence
- Current OHS Construction Induction (White card)
