Facilities Manager

Gough Recruitment is representing a dynamic and rapidly expanding hospitality business encompassing iconic brands. With a combined total of 50 locations nationwide, Our client is poised for significant growth over the next 24 months. To support this expansion, we are seeking a Facilities Manager to join their team in South Melbourne on a full-time basis.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Facilities Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the ongoing operation and maintenance of venues across our national portfolio. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in facilities maintenance, contractor management, and relationship building, ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations and Australian building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilities Maintenance Plan: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop a comprehensive National Maintenance Plan, covering asset lifecycle management, annual maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and OH&S compliance.
2. Repairs and Maintenance: Take ownership of repair and maintenance requirements for our clients venues and Head Office, liaising with landlords, property managers, and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
3. Risk Analysis: Conduct periodic risk assessments on maintenance procedures, maintaining high standards of OH&S compliance and quality control measures.
4. Project Management – Refurbishment Projects: Support the Project Manager on major refurbishment projects, assisting with stakeholder communication and development of Operations and Maintenance manuals.

Other job-related information:

• Travel interstate required.
• Possession of a current Australian driver’s license.
• Experience in retail environments preferred.
• Salary package of up to $100k
