Seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to support a team in Nedlands, starting as soon as possible Your new company A major government health department based in Nedlands are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join a team. Initially, this role will be offered on a 3-month temporary contract, working full-time hours and paying a competitive hourly rate. This position has a likeliness of being extended further, or alternatively offered on a permanent basis, should you be the right fit for the position. Your new role As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for:
Promoting facility management strategies and processes across the department
Plan and develop maintenance programs and projects across the department
Identify, manage and report on risks and issues impacting project outcomes across the business, including changes to budget and any high risk issues
Manage business and program deliverables to meet maintenance project milestones and objectives
Ensure that maintenance and facilities contractors are managed efficiently
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience working as a Facilities Manager, ideally within a large complex and / or clinical environment
Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
A current "C" or "C.A" class drivers' licence
A National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one if successful
