What this opportunity involves:
As the Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for the workplace experience, site operations, health and safety management and risk and finance management of the Melbourne corporate office of our valued banking and finance client.
You will be based on site - full time, at the Barangaroo office.
An Overview of the role:
- Create a collaborative environment among colleagues across the workspace, prompting future of work behaviours
- Develop an understanding of client needs and interests which will dictate enhancements to the workplace experience
- Support corporate office events and business activities
- Ensure workplace tech and amenities are operational
- Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule
- Oversee vendors onsite and minimise disruptions to business operations
- Provide on-call emergency support as required
- Ensure timely response to facilities issues, especially those which may impact site activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections, maintaining a safe working environment
- Seek cost saving opportunities whilst maintaining operational standards

- Experienced in corporate facilities management
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
- Strong communicator with a customer centric focus
- Capable of working autonomously and prioritising workload
- Demonstratable financial acumen
