The Opportunity
As a Facilities Managerat Dexus you will be a part of a strong team and reporting into an Operations Manager with responsibilities to ensure optimal tenant satisfaction. Managing building contractors and their performance. Work closely with direct team, Project Managers and Operations Manager supporting with fit out projects and Capex work. You will be responsible for 2 office buildings, 180 Lonsdale and 222 Lonsdale which hold great long tenure tenants.
This role is based on site, across 5 days between 8am – 5pm and one day shift per week at 10am – 7pm.
You will make an impact by:
Tenancy management, liaising with tenant representatives and attending to enquiries, complaints, or requirements.
Delivering high level customer service across tenants and client.
Manage monthly contractor meetings.
Review all operating expenses and benchmarking against industry standards.
Understand financial reports and provide commentary.
Ensuring safety and environmental audit is documented and well maintained.
Lead management of energy and water performance.
Monthly reporting of building performance, mechanical and maintance reporting.
Manage all activities of approved contractors.
Partner closely with Project Managers and Operations Manager on Fit Out projects and Capex work.
About You
Strong knowledge of property industry/building Facilities Manager operations.
Previous experience in commercial and office building facilities management would be highly regarded.
Tertiary degree qualification in real estate, property, technical/facilities or equivalent.
Excellent customer service delivery and ability to build effective relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using Yardi is an advantage.
